Master Captain John W. Hughes, Jr has spent a lifetime in the outdoors and on the water. He grew up on Eagle Mountain lake in Fort Worth Texas where he enjoyed friends, boating, fishing, hunting and competitive water skiing. When he was 19, he was a Dive Master on a 58’ trawler in the Bahamas which not only included dive planning but spear fishing and many boat duties. His love for the water was put on hold for about 20 years while he started his excavation company that specialized in farm and ranch improvements, train derailments, and oil field work. A few years back he started investing his time and resources into creating a premier charter service and is back in his happy place on the water. That is when he is not with his awesome wife and two awesome sons.
